Odense Jazz Orchestra - DK

It was a big pleasure to bring my big band music for the first time to Denmark and conduct the great Odense Jazz Orchestra! I hope we will repeat this soon :)

In the last 12 years, I have released six albums dedicated to large ensemble music, spanning the spectrum between big band and orchestra. For this concert, we had pieces from my last two big band albums, released in 2016 and 2019.

What made this concert truly special was the world premiere of two new pieces: "Writing Summer" influenced by the music from the great bassist/composer Dave Holland, and "deeLinde", a love song!
